Payment and Kit Request

Once you request our service, our dedicated team will process your payment over the phone. After that, Guardian Vault will promptly send you a comprehensive "Kit".

The "Kit"

Inside the 14x14 heavy-duty cardboard shipping box, you will find a 10x10 crate containing all the materials necessary to safely package your important items.

Packaging and Shipping

Follow the instructions booklet provided in the Kit, or watch the instructional video on our website, to securely package your items. Use the included strips of packaging tape, security strips, bubble wrap, and tamper-proof bank bag. Place the package inside the 10x10 wooden crate, reuse the heavy-duty shipping box, and affix the provided shipping label back to Guardian Vault.

Secure Storage

Once we receive your package at our facility, it will be stored within a large safe deposit box inside our state-of-the-art private vault. Your items remain untouched as the entire package is placed into the safe deposit box.

Easy Retrieval

When you want your package returned, simply contact us via call, text, or our website's request form. On the next shipping day, your item will be securely shipped back to you by UPS.

Is my bank Safe Deposit Box FDIC insured?

Why shouldn't I use a bank for my Safe Deposit Box needs? Banks don't offer insurance for their Safe Deposit Boxes, but at Guardian Vault, we've taken extra steps to protect your valuables. We've partnered with SDBIC (Safe Deposit Box Insurance Company) after getting accredited with their help. This means we can provide up to $500,000 in insurance coverage for your valuable possessions.

Do you take an inventory of what I place in my safe deposit box and do you need said inventory to issue me insurance?

No, we do not ask what you are placing in your safe deposit box and we do not need to know your safe deposit box contents to issue you insurance up to $500,000.

What happens if the power goes out at Guardian Vault? Can I still access my box?

Yes, a Guardian Staff Member will be able to let you into the vault manually in the event of a power outage. You will be responsible for bringing your Safe Deposit Box key.

Do you need any of my personal information like an SSN (Social Security Number)?

We do not and will never ask for your Social Security Number.
